Horizontal forest
In 2013, while I was working at the house, hundreds of trucks loaded with cut woods passed every day in front of it.
Romania is one of the largest forests reserves in Europe, which provides low-cost raw material to foreign industries. Hectares of the “green” Romania, tons of forest, are removed every day – the removal of an healthy organ of Europe – for the international market, and this has an important impact on the local economy, where the heating is still wood-burning, and prices are growing winter by winter.
